Lidl's Southampton Plans Approved
The go-ahead's been given to build a massive supermarket distribution centre in Southampton.
It's after Test Valley Council approved the planning application from Lidl for the site in Brownhill Way, in Nursling near to the M271.
Southampton City Council had already backed the proposals.
Lidl say it will create up to 400 jobs.
A statement from Test Valley Borough Council said:
''The Southern Area Planning Committee of Test Valley Borough Council has approved the application from LiDL to construct a regional distribution centre to the south of Brownhill Way, Nursling. The site straddles the administrative boundary of Test Valley and Southampton City and hence had to be approved by both local authorities.''
