Lorry Driver Bailed Over Biker's Death
Police have named a motorcyclist who died in crash on the A331 just off Junction 4 of the M3 in Hampshire.
Mark Edwards, 50, from Frimley Road, Camberley was riding his black Peugeot V Clic 50cc moped along the A331 towards Farnham shortly before 5.30am on Thursday May 3rd when he collided with an articulated Royal Mail lorry.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at Frimley Park Hospital.
The driver of the lorry was shaken but uninjured.
A 52-year-old man from Southampton arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving was bailed until August 20th pending further enquiries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact Sergeant Andy Lynch at the Road Death Investigation Team at Eastleigh on 101, quoting Operation Calendula.
