Man Charged Over Attempted Murder Of Mum And Baby
A man's been charged with the attempted murder of a mum and her baby in Eastleigh.
Police say they found a 27-year-old woman with slash injuries at a house in Alexander Square in the early hours of last Monday (May 7th).
A 19-month-old baby was also found - officers claim the child was drugged.
Both were taken to hospital.
45-year-old Roger Weir, of Slough Lane in Poole, is due before Southampton magistrates today (Monday 14th May) charged with two counts of attempted murder.
Police say both mum and baby have made a good recovery.
