Man Charged Over Fatal Portsmouth Crash
Police investigating a fatal crash in Portsmouth have charged a man.
Agris Pavlos, 29, of Jessie Road in Southsea, is accused of causing death by careless driving and failing to provide a specimen.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 18th.
Around 9.40pm on Sunday, July 15, a BMW left the road at the Portsbridge roundabout. It was discovered on its roof near the underpass at the junction with Western Road.
One of the passengers, a 43-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are continuing their enquiries to trace his next of kin.
A second passenger, a 23-year-old woman suffered serious injuries and has since been released from hospital.
