Man Critical After Curdridge Crash

Police are investigating a serious crash at Curdridge near Botley which has left a man fighting for his life.
It happened on Botley Road, close to Maple Farm at approximately 2.40am on Thursday June 6th.
A member of the public called the emergency services after discovering the blue Ford Fiesta overturned in a field.
It's thought the driver of the car, a 23-year-old man, was travelling south from the direction of Bishops Waltham when he somehow lost control of his vehicle.
He was cut from the car by Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service and taken to Southampton General Hospital where he remains in a critical condition. His family has been informed.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash or anyone who saw the vehicle shortly prior to it, to contact Whitchurch Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Severn.
