Police Name Man Killed In M27 Crash

Police have named the driver who died in a collision at junction 2 of the M27 at Ower.

It happened at around 10.45am on Friday, 22nd July.

He was Steven William Harris, 53, of Dean Road, Southampton.

Mr Harris died when the green Grand Cherokee Jeep he was driving was in collision with a highways maintenance vehicle parked on the hard shoulder. His vehicle then collided with an HGV also heading east.

Police are continuing their appeal for witnesses to the collision.
