Police are investigating how a man died at a flat in Southsea.
He was found on Francis Avenue yesterday morning (Thursday 18 September).
The 39-year-old's death's being treated as unexplained. Tests are due later to try to find out how he died.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said:
"Police were called to a house on Francis Avenue in Portsmouth at around 9.40am on Thursday, September 18 following the discovery of a man's body at the address.
"The 39-year-old man’s death is being treated as unexplained.
"A post mortem examination is due to take place this afternoon (Friday 19 September).
"Next of kin are being informed.
"We have no further information at this time."
