Man Hurt In Road Rage Fight

A road rage argument's left a man in hospital near Southampton.

It happened on Thursday, November 15 between 6 and 7pm in Rumbridge Street.

The 45-year-old spoke to the driver of a dark Vauxhall Vectra style vehicle. The men ended up fighting and the victim fell awkwardly breaking his ankle, getting a black eye and concussion.

He was taken to Southampton general hospital.

The other man involved is described as: White, around 25, short dark hair, about 5ft 9 inches tall, stocky build, clean shaven, wearing a red T-shirt, dark shorts and dark trainers, looking like he had just come from football match.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident which ended up with the victim stumbling in the road trying to get up to contact them.

Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who saw the driving incident beforehand which led to the incident.
