PC Katie White said: “This incident is rare but will be treated seriously. It has left the victim shaken and scared.
“I would like to hear from anyone with information about this incident. There were a number of people in the area at the time who may have seen the incident or people matching the description of the offenders.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to remind members of the public that they can reduce the chances of becoming the victim of crime if they don’t walk home alone after a night out.
“Either walk with a friend, making sure you walk along well lit routes, or arrange transport. Also make sure that someone knows where you are going and what time you will be home.”
