Four men have been released after a man with a gun robbed a Portsmouth corner shop.
They were arrested after three men had entered the Copnor Mini Mart on Copnor Road on Thursday 7th November and bought a chocolate bar. A short time later one of the men returned, discreetly showing what appeared to be a small firearm in the waistband of his trousers. He demanded cash and £30 was handed over by the cashier.
The man left and walked off with the other two men northbound along Copnor Road.
Detective Constable Lucia Davies said:
"We know that customers were in the store before and after the incident. We would be keen to trace these people along with anyone who was in the vicinity of Copnor Road at the junction of Powerscourt Road around the time of the incident."
Anyone with information should contact CID at Fratton police station on 101, alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
