Nationwide Appeal To Find Man's Killers

9 September 2010, 10:01

We're closer to finding out what happened to a Southampton man, whose body was found in a stream earlier this year.

Lots of you phoned in last night after a nationwide appeal into the death of Shawn Williams last July. Officers think he died of his injuries after being attacked on the Northam estate and his body was found in Shirley two weeks later.

Hampshire Police might now have a lead after the same name came up twice during the phone-in, but they still want to hear from anyone who may have seen him on the Northam estate on the morning he was attacked.

A £3000 reward is on offer to whoever helps them convict those responsible.
