Three Charged After Hampshire Drug Raids

Three men have been charged with conspiracy to supply drugs, after a series of raids across Hampshire.

 
Detectives from Hampshire Constabulary's 'Fortress' team have charged three men this evening (Sunday, June 22, 2014) with a conspiracy to supply drugs.
 
• Darren James McCash, aged 31, of Bryher Island, Port Solent, Portsmouth.
• Ben McCash, aged 20, of Kilford Court, Botley, Southampton.
• Bradley Michael McCash, aged 22, of Kilford Court, Botley, Southampton.
 
All three men are accused of conspiracy to supply cocaine - and are also facing separate charges for conspiracy to supply heroin.
 
Furthermore, Darren McCash is charged with money laundering.
 
The charges were agreed following independent advice from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
 
All three men will remain in police custody overnight before they are due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday, June 23, 2014).
 
Four other suspects arrested as part of this investigation have been granted police bail until September 1, 2014 pending further enquiries, which are supported by the Hampshire Major Investigation Team (HMIT).
 
The four suspects on bail are:
 
•       Two 50-year-old women from Southampton
•       A 22-year-old woman from Portsmouth
•       A 17-year-old boy from Southampton
 
All seven arrests were made as a result of four warrants executed at addresses in Thornhill, Botley and Portsmouth on Friday, June 20, 2014:
 
A search for drugs evidence at Dumbleton Copse on Netley Common in Thornhill, Southampton has finished.
