A couple from Southampton have had their home burgled while they were sat in the lounge watching TV.
Hampshire Police say they were both around 70-years-old.
The burglar got into through an unlocked back door at the property in College Road, Woolston sometime between 4.15pm and 6.15pm on Sunday 16 March.
They then stole two laptop computers from the dining room before leaving. The couple knew nothing about it until they found the laptops missing later.
The two laptops taken were a black Lenovo worth around £360 and a pink LG Netbook, LGX110 worth about £200. The battery for the netbook is black and doesn’t match the body. The thief also stole a bottle of white wine and a bottle of Mazipan Liquor.
Officers say it may be that more than one person was involved as three males, one wearing a grey hoody, were seen acting suspiciously in the area earlier in the day.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call DC David Wheeler at Bitterne CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
