Southampton Man Robbed In His Own Home

Police are investigating a robbery at a house in Bursledon Road, Southampton in the early hours of Saturday, February 26.

A 29 year old man had been on a night out in Southampton and returned to his home by taxi from the Maxims Casino in Town Quay at around 4am with two men and a woman, acquaintances he had socialised with at the casino.

Without explanation, one of the men hit the man knocking him to the floor while the second man joined in, with both kicking and punching him while he lay on the floor.

This caused the man to lose consciousness and when he came round; his three guests had left, taking with them his Apple Iphone, Rolex watch worth £3,000, Acer Laptop Computer and wallet.

He received a black eye, lacerations to the head and cuts and bruises over his upper torso and both arms.

The offenders are described as:

Man 1

White

Aged early 20’s

Approx 5ft 10ins tall

Stocky build.

He had short dark hair.

Man 2

White male

Aged early 20’s

5ft 5ins tall

Slim build

He had ginger coloured hair

Woman

White

Aged 21 years

Average build

She had blonde hair in a pony tail.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who saw these men and the woman at Maxims Casino and also the taxi driver who drove them to Bursledon Road from the casino. Police are also appealing for any residents in Bursledon Road who have private CCTV cameras or saw these three people in the area anytime between 4am and 6am.
