Teenager Dies After Car Crash

A 17 year old has died after her car collided head on with a motorcycle in Alton.

At around 4.25pm, Friday, May 27, a silver Renault Clio travelling from Alton towards Kingsley collided with a silver Yamaha motorcycle in Caker Lane.

The Clio driver, 17-year-old Erin Shee, a student from Whitehill, Bordon, suffered life threatening injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital where she died on Monday, May 30. Her passenger, a 17-year-old man, suffered a slight head injury.

The motorcyclist, a 49-year-old man from Weymouth, suffered a broken leg and remains in hospital in a stable condition. His passenger, a 15-year-old boy from Bordon, suffered leg injuries.

Police are continuing their appeal for witnesses to this collision.
