Police are investigating the death of a teenager in a crash in the New Forest.
It happened at Bransgore during the early hours of this morning (Thursday, August 15th).
The single vehicle collision involving a Ford Focus happened on Burley Road, at around 12.30am.
It's thought that the driver of the car, a 19 year-old man, was travelling in the direction of Winkton when he lost control of his car and hit a lampost. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are trying to find out exactly how it happened. They haven't named the man yet but say he's from the Bournemouth area.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash or anyone who saw the vehicle shortly prior the collision, to contact Totton Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Jabiru.
