Three Women Arrested After Bar Stabbing

Police are investigating a stabbing in the toilets of a bar in Portsmouth.

Officers were called to Walkabout on Guildhall Walk around 2am on Wednesday, December the 8th.

A 33-year-old woman reported she had suffered cuts to her chest in the ladies toilets of the bar in what is believed to be an unprovoked attack.

The woman was treated at the scene by ambulance crews and her wounds were reported to be superficial.

Working with the bar staff, police identified and arrested three women aged 18, 18 and 21, all from Gosport.

They were questioned on suspicion of wounding with intent and bailed until March 8, 2011, pending further enquiries.
