A woman's been badly hurt after her car flipped over on a major Hampshire road.
Police were called to the A3 at Liss at around 9.30am on Thursday 22 August to reports of a car on its roof on the southbound carriageway.
It is understood the Ford Ka was travelling north and had crossed over the central reservation and came to rest on the opposite carriageway.
The woman driving was taken to Southampton General Hospital by air ambulance with what were described as life threatening injuries. She's now said to be in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Both northbound and southbound carriageways re-opened shortly after 1pm.
Officers say they would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the vehicle driving prior to it. At this time no other vehicles are believed to have been involved but police say they are keeping an open mind and looking into whether or not that is the case.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Roads Policing unit, quoting Operation Decathlon, on 101.
