Tiverton: Teenager Mugged At Knifepoint

Police in Tiverton are appealing for information following a robbery in the Town.

The incident occurred just before 1.00pm on Wednesday 7th May 2014 at the entrance to People’s Park , which is near the leisure centre in Tiverton.

The offender threatened the victim aged 18 years with a knife before stealing money and a mobile phone.
The suspect is also believed to have approached another man in the walk way between Morrison’s supermarket and Market Carpets shortly before this incident but nothing was stolen.
Police are keen to trace 5 school children who may have witnessed this incident.
No person has been injured as a result of either incident. 
The suspect is described as being a white man, aged 18 to 25 years, 5’11 to 6’ in height, of thin build and wearing a grey hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.
