Ipswich: Teenager Stabbed At Party

A teenager has been taken to hospital after a stabbing at a party on Bilberry Road in Ipswich over the weekend.

Police were called at approximately 10.05pm on Saturday 5th November following a report that a 16-year-old girl had been assaulted.

The girl was conveyed to Ipswich Hospital where she received treatment for a neck injury.

An 18-year-old Ipswich man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm a short while later and taken to Ipswich Police Investigation Centre.

He has been bailed pending further enquiries and is due to return at 12noon on 19th December 2011.
