A 59 year old woman and 15 year old boy died after the crash which happened on the A14 at Trimley last August.
50 year old Roger Fuller, from Willow Way in Harwich has been charged with causing two deaths by dangerous driving.
The collision happened at around 1.50pm on Monday 20 August 2012 on the A14 at Trimley (eastbound) and involved two lorries and a Fiat Punto.
The driver of the Punto, Christine Taylor, a 59-year-old woman of Clovelly Road, Coventry died at the scene and a 15-year-old boy, William Taylor of Welsh Road, Coventry who was a passenger in the car, was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital with life threatening injuries but later died.
Roger Fuller will appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court on 6 February 2013.
