A14: Motorcyclist Who Died In Crash Named

A 44-year-old woman who died after the motorcycle she was riding collided with a car on the A14 at Coddenham in Suffolk has been named by police.
Karen Stone from Pitsea in Essex died after her Suzuki bike collided with a Renault Clio around 2.15pm on Saturday, 26th November.
A 19-year-old woman from the Stowmarket area was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She has now been bailed to return to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on 15th January 2012 pending further enquiries.
Police are continuing to ask anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision or the crash itself to call the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101.

A 44-year-old woman from south Essex has died after the motorcycle she was riding was in collision with a car on the westbound carriageway of the A14 at Coddenham in Suffolk.
The Suzuki motorcycle was in collision with a Renault Clio car around 2.15pm yesterday afternoon, Saturday 26 November.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was injured in the crash.
A 19-year-old woman from the Stowmarket area was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has been bailed to return to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on 15 January 2012, pending further enquiries.
Police are thanking motorists for their patience following the collision and are also thanking those who have already called in with witness information. As with any serious or fatal crash officers must carry out a full investigation into the cause and these enquiries remain ongoing.
The A14 re-opened as of 5.45pm yesterday afternoon.
