A 44-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of 38-year-old Brian Knock in Bildeston yesterday.
Mr Knock, was formally identified this afternoon, Monday 2 September, and he had been staying at an address in Brooksfield, Bildeston. He was found in the garden of the property just after 4am yesterday, Sunday 1 September, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post mortem examination confirmed that he died from multiple stab wounds.
Barry Estabrook, 44, of Brooks View in Bildeston, was arrested soon after the incident and he was taken into custody at Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where he was interviewed by detectives before being charged with Mr Knock’s murder.
He is being detained in custody overnight and is now due to appear at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates Court tomorrow morning, Tuesday 3 September.
The remaining cordons in Bildeston are due to be lifted shortly.
