Businesses Asked to Back Improvement Scheme
The Ipswich Central Business Plan is for the renewal and extension of the Ipswich town centre Business Improvement District.
Since 2007, Ipswich Central has introduced more than £3.3m of investment to the heart of the town, benefiting businesses, employees, students, residents and visitors. Businesses have been paying a small levy for the last five years to keep it going.
Executive Director of Ipswich Central Paul Clement told Heart: "We're pledging £3.76 million in maintaining management standards like cleaning, safety, street rangers, and really boosting the marketing side and talking to potential employees, investors, retailers, and visitors."
