Debenham: Ram Raid At Sports Centre

Police are investigating after a ram raid at a sports centre in Debenham in Suffolk.
Police are appealing for witnesses following a ram raid at a sports centre in Debenham, in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened at around 2.30am at the Debenham Sports Centre in Gracechurch Street, Debenham.
Police were called to the scene following an alarm activation to discover the premises had been entered. It would appear that a vehicle had been used to break through glass doors to enter the main building.
An attempt was made to remove a safe but it was left at the scene.
A white Toyota Hilux vehicle was seen leaving the area at speed; a vehicle matching this description has been reported as stolen from the Redlingfiled between 5pm on Tuesday 2nd October and 7.15am on Wednesday 3rd October.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of the sports centre in the early hours of this morning or has seen the Toyota Hilux YF58 ZGO since it was stolen from Redlingfield or since. Calls should be made to Bury St Edmunds CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
