Felixstowe: Man Charged After Car Crashes Into House

A man's been charged after a car smashed into a house in Felixstowe.

Police were called to Kersey Road at 4.40am this morning, Saturday 22 June 2013, to reports of a car striking a fence outside a house.

When officers attended they found a Jaguar had collided with the house and the driver was not present. The female occupant of the property was shocked but unhurt.

Later in the morning, a man was arrested at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre and questioned.

James Peskett, aged 25 and of Alexandra Road in Felixstowe, has been charged with dangerous driving and is due before South East Suffolk Magistrates Court in Ipswich on 10 July.
