Framlingham: Man Dies After Road Crash

A man has died after a road crash on Station Road in Framlingham in Suffolk.

Emergency services were called at around 11:10am yesterday morning, Saturday 10th December to reports of a collision between a silver Ford Mondeo and two stationary vehicles.

The driver of the Ford, a 78-year-old man from the Framlingham area, was seen to by the ambulance service and the Air Ambulance also attended. However, the man died on scene.

Neither of the two stationary vehicles, a silver BMW and a blue Ford Ranger were occupied at the time and there were no other injured parties.

Station Road and surrounding roads were closed for a period of time but have since been reopened.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the collision. Calls should be made to PC Stuart Duffell at the FHQ Roads Policing Team on 101.
