Great Barton: Two Die In A143 Crash

Two people have died after a crash at Great Barton this morning.

Police have told Heart the collision happened at around 10:45am this morning along the A143 and involved a car and a HGV lorry.
 
Two people inside the car were pronounced dead on scene. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.
 
The HGV driver has no serious injuries.
 
The ambulance and fire service are still on the scene, the road is currently closed and diversions have been put in place while police investigate what happened.
 
Police say they believe a number of people may have witnessed the collision left the scene before officers arrived and they are keen to hear from them.
