Great Cornard: Woman Who Died After Being Hit By A Car Named

A 74-year-old woman who died after being hit by a car at Head Lane in Great Cornard on Friday evening has been named as Christine Ward.

She is from Great Cornard and she died on route to the West Suffolk Hospital after being hit by a car as she crossed the road at Head Lane at around 6.55pm.

Police, ambulance crews and the air ambulance all went to the scene.
