Haverhill: Unexplained Death

An area of Haverhill has been cordoned off by police this morning, Sunday 24 March following the unexplained death of a man.
Police were called to Duddery Road at around 3:30am by the Ambulance Service who were at the scene tending to a man who had been found laying in the street.
The man, who is believed to be in his fifties, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Officers have cordoned off an area of Duddery Road while initial enquiries are carried out and remain on scene.
The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Anyone who was in the area of Duddery Road, Haverhill during the early hours of this morning and may have information that could help are asked to call Suffolk Police on 101.
