Lowestoft boxer Anthony Ogogo has been forced to pull out of a fight in Las Vegas next month.
The Olympic bronze medalist was due to make his fourth professional appearance at the MGM Grand, but says a "niggly little injury" means he won't be fit enough by then.
The event is on the undercard of the biggest worldwide boxing event of the year.
The 24-year-olds contest would have been on the same bill as Floyd Mayweather's showdown with Saul Alvarez.
On his blog Ogogo say's he is "obviously hugely disappointed by this.
"It was a huge honour for me to be included and it would have been a fantastic experience to be involved in one of the biggest cards in recent history.
"This fight just came a little too soon and I wouldn't have been doing myself justice if I fought when I wasn't 100%.''
Ogogo is so far unbeaten since turning professional.
He is still expecting to compete two more times before the end of 2013.
