Ipswich: Arrest Over Attempted Robberies

Police in Ipswich have arrested a man in connection with two attempted robberies in the town.

The first robbery occurred at the One Stop on Cambridge Drive at around 9:45pm on Tuesday 22nd May, with the second incident taking place at the Co-op shop on Sheldrake Drive just hours later at around 12:15am Wednesday 23 May.

The 29-year-old Ipswich man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and is currently being questioned at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
