A man has been arrested by police in Ipswich after an 18-year-old man sustained a puncture wound following a serious assault in the town on Monday 21 May.
The man was taken to Ipswich hospital following the incident in Russell Road and has since been described as being in a stable condition.
The 19-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested yesterday, Thursday 24 May on suspicion of GBH with intent.
He is currently at the Martlesham Investigation Centre.
