Ipswich Bus Assault: Witnesses Come Forward

Suffolk Police have confirmed that two people they were seeking as witnesses to the assault of a man on a bus in Ipswich Thursday evening have now come forward.

Officers  have been continuing their inquiries into the incident, and say they would still like to hear from any other witnesses.

House to house inquiries were being carried out Friday evening and officers have also been travelling on the Ipswich Buses number 10 service where the assault took place at around 6.05pm  to speak to passengers.

A 26-year-old man from Ipswich was arrested on suspicion of GBH on Friday morning.
