Ipswich: Man Bailed After Town Centre Assault

A 36-year-old man from Ipswich who was arrested on suspicion of assault has been bailed pending further enquiries.
The man was arrested in connection with an incident in Ipswich this morning, Sunday 31st March.
Police were called at 3.25am this morning to reports that a man had been assaulted in Old Foundry Road, in Ipswich town centre.
The victim, aged in his 30s was taken to Ipswich Hospital with serious head injuries and was later conveyed to Addenbrokes Hospital. His condition is now described as stable.
The 36-year-old man from Ipswich must return to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on Sunday 12 May.
