Ipswich: Man In Hospital After Stabbing

A man has been taken to hospital this evening, with a stab wound following an incident in Ipswich last night.
Police were contacted just after 8:10pm on Tuesday evening by a man reporting that he had been attacked near to the church in Burlington Road.
Officers managed to find the man who had a stab wound to his back. He was then taken to Ipswich Hospital by the ambulance service where he currently remains. At the moment there is no update on his condition.
The victim has reported being attacked by a white man in a navy tracksuit and a scene was briefly put up in the area as officers begin an investigation to find out exactly what has occurred.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident or who may have information that may help the investigation to get in contact immediately on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
