Ipswich: Man Robbed At Knifepoint

A man has had money stolen after two men carrying a knife robbed him.

Police are appealing for information following a robbery that happened on Tuesday 27 November, in Ipswich.

The incident happened in the foyer of a communal flat in Franciscan Way at approximately 9.30am. Two offenders standing in the entrance threatened a 24-year-old man with a small knife. An amount of cash was stolen from the victim. The offenders ran off into the street towards Cromwell Square.

The victim was not injured from the incident.

The first offender is described as a man of African Caribbean appearance, between 5'7" and 5'8" tall, aged late teens to early twenties, had braided hair and was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit hooded top and black trainers.

The second offender is described as a white man, between 6'1" and 6'2" tall, of a very slim build, had brown eyes, appeared to have a 'broken nose' and was wearing a dark coloured flat-peak hat, a hooded tracksuit top with matching tracksuit bottoms and dark coloured trainers.
