Ipswich Mum Successfully Gets Law Changed

An Ipswich mum's whose daughter was killed by a pensioner days after he was told not to drive says she's glad a new law will soon come into force.

Jackie McCord's daughter Cassie was killed by a pensioner in Essex on February 9th, 2011.

Just days earlier police had told the 87 year old not to drive because his eye-sight was so bad.

"Cassie's Law" will mean the process of suspending someone's licence is sped up.

Jackie says she also wants compulsory eye-tests for people over 70 and spoke to Heart about her campaign:
