Ipswich: Police Look For Four People After Stabbing

A man has been left in hospital after a stabbing at Dillwyn Street in the west of Ipswich last night.
Police were contacted by the ambulance service just after 6.40pm Saturday 4 January, to reports of a stabbing.
Officers found the 42-year-old with a number of wounds to his body. He has been taken to Ipswich Hospital where he is undergoing assessment and surgery.
Officers sat it appears the initial attack happened inside a flat there but the parties involved may have then moved into the street.
The road was closed off as an initial investigation got underway but it has now been re-opened.
At the moment it is thought there may have potentially been four offenders and police are currently working to trace those involved.
Anyone who may have been in the area around this time today who saw anything that may help the investigation, or anyone with information about those responsible, is asked to call Suffolk Police by dialling 101.

A 42-year-old man who sustained stab wounds following an incident at a property in Dillwyn Street in Ipswich has been transferred to Addenbrookes Hospital.
