Ipswich: Teens Robbed by Men With Knife

Two teenaged boys have been robbed by three men with a knife in Ipswich.

Police are appealing for information following a robbery that happened on Monday 8 October, in Ipswich.

 

The incident happened at approximately 9.30pm in Landseer Park in Clapgate Lane, but was reported to police later the next morning. A 17-year male and a 15-year-old male who was pushing a bike, were walking through the park. They were approached by three men, two on bicycles and one on foot. The man on foot demanded property from the teenagers and stole a bike from one and a Blackberry mobile phone from the other. A knife was seen tucked into the offender's waistband.

 

Both victims were not injured from the incident.

 

The offender who robbed the teenagers was described as a white man, approximately 5'8" tall, between 17 to 18-years-old, of an average build and was wearing a black and white spotted bandana across his face, had a black baseball cap on, black gloves and white trainers.

 

The two men who were with the offender, are described as both of Asian appearance, approximately 5'8" tall, both between 17 to 18-years old and both wearing black clothing and black gloves. One was riding a blue and yellow mountain bike and the other a black BMX.
