Kentford: 30 Firefighters Tackle House Fire

A man's been taken to hospital after a house fire in Kentford in Suffolk. Police aren't sure if anyone else was in the house.

Firefighters were called just after 9am this morning to reports of a fire in the roof of a house on Bury Road.

Crews from Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall, Cambridge and Soham are at the scene.

The roof of the home has collapsed and police have closed the road and firefighters have called in help from building controi as the house is on the verge of collapsing.

Ambulance crews have treated a man for smoke inhalation and taken him to hospital.

Officer have told Heart they still don't know what caused the fire and if anyone else is inside.
