Latitude: More Acts Added To Line-Up

Former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft and Supergrass star Gaz Coombes have been added to the line-up of this year's Latitude festival in Suffolk.

The indie favourites will play on the opening night of the 35,000-capacity event at the start of a weekend of music, including headliners Bloc Party, Kraftwerk and Foals.

Ivor Novello Award-winning songwriter Ashcroft will perform at an opening party on July 18 before the main festival begins the following day.

Coombes will perform his ``experimental yet melodious'' solo tunes, organisers said.

Latitude, which also includes comedy, theatre, poetry and literature stages, is now in its eighth year.
