Lowestoft: Man Arrested Over Burglary

A third man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and GBH following an aggravated burglary in Lowestoft.

A 31-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon over the burglary that happened on Cambridge Road in the early hours of Monday 27 August.
 
He is currently in custody where he is being interviewed by officers about the attack.

A 47-year-old woman who sustained serious head injuries in the incident remains in Addenbrookes hospital where she is described as being stable and improving.

Alan Harwood, 30, of High Street, Lowestoft, who was arrested on Tuesday 28 August and charged with two counts of GBH and aggravated burglary in connection with the attack will appear at Ipswich Crown Court next Tuesday.

A 36-year-old man from Lowestoft, arrested on 27 August on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery has been released on bail.
