Lowestoft: Docks Rescue

The Fire Service have had to rescue a man from the deck of a boat in Lowestoft after falling 7 metres from the docks.

They were called out to  Fish Docks in Lowestoft just before midnight.

The Ambulance Service called them to lift a casualty, who had fallen from the docks onto a boat on the water.

The rescue vehicle from Lowestoft was called out and arrived on scene at 00:08.

Crews worked with the Ambulance Service using a basket stretcher to lift the casualty and by 00:49, they had been rescued.
