Man Charged With Sexual Assault

Police have arrested and charged a 41 year old man for inappropriately touching a 19 year old woman.

The incident happened on Fonnereau Road in Ipswich in the early hours of Monday 4th July.

The 19 year old victim was walking home from a night out when she was approached by an unknown man who began sexually touching her. The woman managed to get help from members of the public before alerting police.

Jason Jones from Eagle Street in Ipswich was charged yesterday and held in custody. He is due to appear in Magistrates Court this morning.
