Man Stabbed in Ipswich

A man is recovering in hospital after a stabbing on Nacton Road in Ipswich on Friday afternoon.

Police are appealing for information after the incident.

Officers were called at just after 4:40pm  near to the Lloyds bank on Nacton Road.

The man is being treated at Ipswich Hospital with an injury to his abdomen  although his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information in relation to this incident to contact Ipswich CID immediately on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
