Mum Of Missing Luke: More Support Needed

The Mum of a teenager who went missing after a night out has been speaking to MP's to tell them there's a lack of support for families.

19-year-old Luke Durbin from Woodbridge in Suffolk disappeared after a night out in Ipswich in 2006.

Nicki Durbin has been joining other parents like Madeline McCann's Mum Kate, to talk about the lack of emotional services available.

She told Heart why it was so important for her to do: "It's to try and ensure that the government does take the issue of missing seriously. If your house is burgled you're immediately offered victim support, which will give you emotional, practical and legal support. If your child goes missing - you don't get anything.

Luke had gone for a night out, you know, you're thrown into this world and it's just a complete nightmare and without any support there you are incredibly isolated."
