Newmarket: Pilots Survive Glider Crash

Two pilots have survived after their gliders crashed mid air over Newmarket.


Heart's being told both ejected with one being taken to hospital with head injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.

Emergency services were called around 4 O'Clock after eye witnesses reported at least one person had ejected from their gliders.

Both piloits were found in a field on the east side of Newmarket gallops.

They were thought to be part of a national gliding contest
