Newmarket: Man Charged After Police Pursuit
A man has been charged after a police pursuit through Newmarket led to the arrest of three people.

38-year-old Darren Thurling from Duck Lane, Haddenham, Ely in Cambridgeshire has been charged with taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, using a motor vehicle without insurance and driving a motor vehicle without a licence. The vehicle, a Volvo had been taken from an address in Soham on 23 March 2014.
Thurling will appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on 9 April 2014.
A 32-year-old man from Ely in Cambridgeshire who was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and dangerous driving has been bailed to return to the Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre on 30 April 2014.
No further action will be taken against a 31-year-old woman from Ely in Cambridgeshire who was arrested on suspicion of theft.
A Volvo car failed to stop for officers in Hamilton Road, Newmarket at around 12.45am yesterday morning, Monday 24 March.
The vehicle was stopped in the village of Horringer and the three people were arrested.
