Police have issued an Efit likeness of an offender after a man attempted to sexually assault a teenage girl in East Bergholt.
At approximately 5pm on Tuesday (3 June) the 15-year-old girl was walking past the Hare and Hounds pub in Chaplin Road when she saw a man resting against the fence at the road junction.
He tried to speak to the girl, but she ignored him and continued to walk on. The man then grabbed her wrist and pulled her into some nearby bushes, where he exposed himself. The man made sexual comments and tried to force himself upon the girl, who then managed to run away.
The offender is described as a white man, aged in his twenties, with blonde short spiked hair, had dark coloured eyebrows, stubble, and was wearing skinny-fit light blue jeans and a grey hooded top.
Police are releasing the Efit of the man and are asking anyone who recognises him to contact Ipswich Police on 101 quoting reference HD/14/647 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
